Mur Eco 8/2
Mur Eco 8/2 is a dry, ready-to-use masonry mortar with lower CO₂ emissions and a granulometry of 0–2 mm, suitable for bricks with normal to high suction. It is applicable for new construction and renovation, both indoors and outdoors.
Yield: approx. 625 L per ton of dry mortar.

Mur Eco 8/2 can be used for any type of masonry in bricks, concrete blocks, and calcium silicate bricks, for both new construction and renovation, indoors and outdoors (mortar exposure classes MX1, MX2, and MX3 according to Annex A of NBN EN 1996-2 and PTV 651).
Mur Eco 8/2 is recommended for bricks with an initial water absorption of:
- IW3: 1,5 - 4 kg/(m².min) for normal suction brick types
- IW4: > 4 kg/(m².min) for high suction brick types
This recommendation is indicative. In case of doubt, additional testing may be necessary. Determining the appropriate mortar is best done in consultation with the manufacturer.
Mur Eco 8/2 is packed in 25 kg plastic bags.
The shelf life in the original, unopened, and undamaged packaging, stored in dry conditions and protected from moisture, is 12 months.
